Hotpoint Washing Machine

I got this Hotpoint washing machine (Model HTWP1400F1WW) from my neighbor to replace the Maytag washing machine that I got from another neighbor to replace my leaking washign machine.

The Maytag worked but vibrated something fierce when spin drying.

The problem with Hotpoint is that it's missing the drain hose which was apparently used for the new washing machine.  (Why the new one didn't come with a drain hose seems strange.)

The drain hose for this model is WH41X10096 which I was able to obtain from Reliable Parts.  The first time I tried to get it, the website said it was in stock but when I drove to Relibable Parts, the guy said they didn't have it.

About a week later, I ordered it online.  Then I confirmed they had it in a phone call a couple of days later and picked it up.

That's one.

Next I have to get a retainer clip.  the poart number is WH16X513.  There are several sources on Amazon, so I'll just order the cheapest one.  It's from AOLKKSI.

After that, I'll need the screws.  Apparently it's part number WH02X10002.  It's $6.07 each at GE Appliance Parts.  Then they'll charge $7.95 shipping for $20.09.

What can I use instead?

The GE Part WH02X10002 is a standard hex-head sheet metal screw (Size 8-18 AB, 7/8 inch length) used to secure appliance panels, dishwasher brackets, and washer parts. You can replace it with any equivalent #8 stainless steel or zinc-plated sheet metal screw with a hex washer head or pan head from a local hardware store.

Hardware Store Alternative: Go to your local hardware store (like Lowe's or Home Depot) and pick up a #8 x 7/8" or 1" hex-head sheet metal screw. Ensure it is zinc-plated or stainless steel to prevent rust.

So maybe something like this or this from Lowes?

Then once I get everything, hopefully it'll be a simple install like this video or this video or this video suggests.
